Vodafone Ireland sought to promote its new Vodafone TV Play Box, a state-of-the-art product featuring surround sound by Bang & Olufsen. Tilt was commissioned to develop a virtual out-of-home (VOOH) campaign that would highlight the product’s features and leave a lasting impression on audiences.
Our innovative approach blended influencer content with CGI animation, creating an experience so lifelike that even Vodafone employees questioned its reality.
Outcome
We created a dynamic VOOH display that seamlessly combined a 3D-animated build of the Vodafone TV Play Box with real-world visuals:
3D Modelling of the TV Play Box: We built a fully detailed 3D model of the product, which opened to reveal its inner workings, showcasing the integrated Bang & Olufsen speaker system.
Surround Sound Effects: To visually represent the power of the surround sound, the speaker pulsed rhythmically, and the rippling effect extended to a 3D Vodafone flag, reinforcing the sound’s strength and reach.
Storefront Integration: The CGI animation was designed to appear as though it was built onto the Vodafone storefront, creating an immersive and awe-inspiring effect.
